As Nordic Domain Days approaches its 10th anniversary celebration, we're launching a new series highlighting the diverse community that makes our event special. With each edition, NDD has grown significantly - not just in numbers, but in the variety of people and organizations who contribute to our vibrant community. Through "Featured Attendees," we'll introduce you to the faces behind the 400+ domain and hosting professionals joining us in Stockholm.
For our inaugural feature, we're delighted to introduce Alona Borzhemska, Product Manager at Webpros, who will be attending her fourth Nordic Domain Days.
"The first time I went to NDD, I had no idea what to expect. Now, heading into my fourth, I know exactly what's waiting for me - something great and special. Also with this being the 10th anniversary, it's bound to be bigger than ever," Alona shares.
Reflecting on previous events, Alona notes how each year brings something new: "Every year, the NDD team brings something new - fresh ideas, industry insights, and new-level afterparties. NDD 2024 stuck with me for its deep dive into domain trends and getting to know Groundbreaker, whose approach in giving career and education opportunities for women in Uganda was really impressive."
For Alona, the heart of NDD lies in its community: "The real magic? The people. This community shows up, shares, and pushes the industry forward." Her commitment to the event runs deep - quite literally. "Last time, I left with new perspectives from keynotes and panels... and a tattoo. So now I always have a part of NDD with me."
Looking ahead to NDD 2025, Alona has already mapped out her must-attend sessions: "This year, I'm really looking forward to industry presentations and live discussions. Two sessions I've already marked on my calendar are Domain Industry Update, hosted by Robert Jacobi and AI-Powered Success or AI-Driven Disasters by Nadya Frost. Robert always has a sharp perspective on where the domain industry is heading, and Nadya's session tackles one of the biggest questions of our time - whether AI will be our greatest tool or our biggest downfall - so that's definitely one I don't want to miss."
But as any NDD veteran knows, the event is about more than just sessions: "It's also not just about the sessions. I can't wait to catch up with colleagues and friends, share ideas, and, of course, enjoy some anniversary cake!"
